Web3 Community Manager (Remote) at Phoenix Growth

We are building a team of high-quality community managers with experience in growing teams to create, manage, and build language communities across Discord, Telegram, and Reddit. We are tasking this team as marketing managers for their respective countries, identifying and executing at in-person events and conferences.

Community Management
Community managers with a background in moderation and administration of language-specific channels on Telegram and Discord are needed in a variety of different languages to establish, sustain, and grow client channels on Discord.

– Maintain, moderate, and grow language-specific channels (Discord) with educational and customized engagement material provided.
– Translate periodic announcements, attend a weekly check-in, bi-weekly one-on-ones, and a monthly all-team meeting.
– Under leadership and example, develop and propose Discord ‘bounties’ to incentivize your channel members and attract new members with quizzes, meme contests, AMAs, and weekly competitions, etc. sustaining established activity threshold requirements.
– In addition, provide Galxe (or questing platform) information and links to your members and help and support in the creation of competitions where appropriate to increase your message rate per channel and daily active members per channel and become eligible for bonuses.

Field Marketing
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for specific regions, driving brand awareness and user acquisition through live in-person events, conferences, meetups, AMAs, and other relevant opportunities. You will play a crucial role in establishing our presence in key markets and building a vibrant community around our platform.

Identify and execute strategic opportunities:
– Research and assess relevant live events, conferences, meetups, and AMAs.
– Analyze potential partnerships and sponsorships for maximum impact.
– Build relationships with key stakeholders in the web3 ecosystem.
Develop and manage event/activation budgets:
– Create clear objectives and KPIs for each event.
– Allocate resources effectively and track expenditures.
– Measure the success of events and iterate strategies.
Plan and execute event logistics:
– Manage booth design, branding, and collateral materials.
– Organize engaging demos, presentations, and workshops.
– Coordinate logistics with event organizers and vendors.

Community building and engagement:
– Facilitate networking and social interactions at events.
– Cultivate relationships with attendees and potential users.
– Foster a positive community around the platform.

Content creation and thought leadership:
– Develop engaging content for event presentations and outreach materials.
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and participate in thought leadership activities.

– Strong understanding of the web3 ecosystem and its relevant communities.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
