Before I get started, yes I’m generalizing here.
Now that that’s out of the way.
Boomers have rugged the above mentioned generations into abject poverty and childlessness and a kind of yucky hand-to-mouth rentoid existence.
Whenever one of us gets enough to leave the proverbial hood, they just go straight over to the housing market and volunteer to become exit liquidity for a boomer who bought that shitty house for like $15 in the 1980s. This pricey housing is an issue all over the entire western world, they didn’t think or care about subsequent generations kinda sorta needing housing to live and start families.
Bitcoin changes this, when you buy bitcoin it does not come at the expense of denying someone a place to start a family. Moreover, it takes away this pressure from a pumped up housing market because a person may choose to invest in bitcoin rather than real estate.
This trend alone will deflate the housing market and rug the boomers a bit. This is a more ethical and sustainable investment strategy because it does not cause social harm like RE investing. Greed has caused us a lot of pain, we will not inflict this kind of pain on subsequent generations, hopefully.
Rant over.
