bought a top again because i can’t leave green candles alone

this is a stupid confession but whatever. every time bitcoin has a good run i get this itch where i start reading every headline i can find like it’s gonna give me some secret edge, ETF flow numbers, some senator tweeting something, whatever. i end up with like 12 tabs open and somehow feel less sure than when i started. classic.

last week i did it again, saw a green candle and immediately went into full research spiral instead of just doing my normal DCA and going to bed. spent maybe 20 minutes bouncing between headlines trying to figure out if the move actually meant anything or if it was just noise before i talked myself into buying more at a dumb price.

then i ended up glancing at something that just showed me at a glance which of those headlines were actually the kind that move price and which ones were just filler, and it took maybe 10 seconds to sort through what i’d been chewing on for 20 minutes. didn’t even need to read the articles.

still bought slightly too high because apparently that’s just who i am now. but at least it was a faster, dumber mistake instead of a slow one.
