A message to the casual, lurker, buttcoiner, and all of us, a personal opinion and my story.

Hello,

In 2020 I had a mid life crisis just turned 40, been working the same job for 20 years, and took the last 5 years to clean up 112k of credit card debt, cars and student loans. So I’m 40, not much money, almost nothing in my 401k and at least my wife and I own a home and no debt.

So where do I go from here, I had a realization that if I play by the rules and start my 401k I could work another 25-30 years and maybe get to retire and live a few good years until I’m too old to be able to really live. So we work our entire lives and contribute to a system that is owned by them and rigged by them. so that they can get rich and maybe at the end I can have a little bit.

What a scam but we are all in it every day, our dollars are deflated, our buying power diminished. The government printing more, they all get rich while we get crumbs. So I took a risk, and I want to emphasize that it takes a risk to invest in bitcoin and unplug from the safe old system. I’ve never taken risks in my life.

Covid had hit and with the help of the cares act I took out my 401k in full and lumped into Bitcoin. Then I sold all my collectables (lord of the rings sword collection) and then stopped my 401k and used that money to DCA into Bitcoin, another risk as losing the employer match was not smart. I unplugged from THEIR system and invested in MY system.

That’s what resonated with me about Bitcoin that it was made for YOU! 401k, bonds, real estate, stock market, everything is rigged for THEM, all made by people corrupted by money and power to enrich themselves.

So fast forward to 2024, I was laid off by my company of 20 years and devastated, depressed because finding a job in tech sucks, I am still unemployed however I have had a few 6 month contracts but my wife and I are ok because we took the time to get out of debt (another system setup by assholes to keep you a slave and enrich them) we are ok because I still have my Bitcoin, haven’t sold one sat.

My point is to people who are on the edge buying in or wondering if Bitcoin is a scam just know that Bitcoin is a system for YOU, and you have a choice to keep compliance and enrich others, or take a risk on yourself.

So what are your stories? How did you find Bitcoin?

PS I just sold all my alts as well to keep me going. They are just a bastardization of Bitcoin made to do one thing, enrich their creators. Bitcoin was made for everyone. It’s not perfect by any means but it’s more perfect than investing in the ultimate shitcoin, the USD.
