A Texas home health and hospice management firm has disclosed a data breach that may have exposed the personal and medical information of nearly 36,000 Texas residents.
AngMar Management Services of Mansfield says an unauthorized actor may have accessed or acquired information in its systems on or around July 18th of 2026, reports Claim Depot.
The company says it spotted unusual activity on July 20th and brought in forensic investigators.
Claim Depot, citing a Texas Attorney General filing, puts the Texas total at 35,916 so far.
Names, addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers may have been exposed. Medical data may have included patient IDs, medical record numbers, health insurance information, service dates, diagnoses, provider names, prescription details and medical histories.
On August 11th, the ransomware group Interlock claimed on the dark web that it had obtained 710 gigabytes of the firm’s data. AngMar’s own notice letter does not mention the claim.
The firm is offering free single-bureau credit monitoring, a credit report and a credit score through Cyberscout to impacted individuals.
Says AngMar,
“At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that any of your information has been, or will be, misused. In an abundance of caution, we are providing you with information about the incident, our response, and steps you can take to protect your information should you feel it is necessary to do so.”
AngMar, founded in 2000, is based in Mansfield and manages home health and hospice locations across 11 states.
