Cold Storage Self Custody seems the most obvious thing to do but without a third party to assist you with your security – seed phrase management – it seems like one of the biggest challenges – for myself -and – for mass adoption.
Im afraid that a lot more BTC is going to go to the grave with people like me.
The recent technical challenges with wallets are only a sidebar to this – but also relevant.
I am aging (64M) and cannot rely on my memory and health like I once did.
I think thes challenges are going to stall the anticipated growth and potential we have all believed is possible.
